Mixed ATI GPU Performance

We did the same thing for ATI graphics cards as well: We mixed and matched to see the performance difference against two identical cards. We also compared using two different graphics cards to just single cards, in order to show any performance advantage.

In Batman and Call of Duty 4 it's the same old story, however Fallout 3 sees a nice increase in performance from the HD 5870 and 5750, although given the HD 5770, two HD 5770s and HD 5770+4770 yield identical scores, we could also put that down to just the extra grunt of the 5870 alone. In the Team Fortress 2 stakes, again we see a linear example of how the HD 5770 scores one result and the HD 5870 scores a faster result. The extra cards again make no difference.

Is it simply running only one card? We double checked Hydra and both graphics cards were installed correctly and enabled, of which they were, and the results were consistent across multiple runs. Extra cards don't make a difference, defeating the point of Hydra.
